If you would have told me that I would go to a world cup, I would have never believed it! This experience was such an amazing one! I really do encourage anyone to go even though you don’t attend any games it is so amazing how many people from all over the world come together for one sport to support their country! This is probably the fastest way you can meet different people from all over. I was lucky enough to go to at least one game which was Portugal v.s. Morocco and it was so amazing, of course I was rooting for Portugal and they won. I was also there supporting Mexico and they also won a couple of games. Everyone from their team were so nice, if my team won they would congratulate me as if I did anything! I was like, awe thank you! Good game you too! I just love how even though they didn’t win they are supportive, as well as the other teams who weren’t playing. I would hear comments like ‘GOOD JOB MEXICO’ .. I would just reply THANK YOU! Good Luck on your game later! It’s like we are all family supporting each other! Another interesting thing was that people would just come up to us and asked if they could take pictures, OF COURSE I would say yes. It was like a competition to see how many different people from different places we could take pictures with. For the ones who couldn’t communicate with me, just put their phone near my face for a selfie. Lol I remember this one Russian girl just came up to me and did that and gave me a huge kiss on the cheek! It’s just amazing how we are all passionate about one sport and we are able to share it with other people! Most definitely looking forward to other world cups!

Si me hubieras dicho que iría a un mundial, ¡nunca lo habría creído! ¡Esta experiencia fue increíble! Realmente ánimo a cualquiera a que vaya, aunque no asista a ningún juego, ¡es tan sorprendente cuántas personas de todo el mundo se unen para un deporte para apoyar a su país! Esta es probablemente la forma más rápida de conocer a diferentes personas de todas partes. Tuve la suerte de ir al menos a un juego que fue Portugal v.s. Marruecos y fue tan increíble, por supuesto yo estaba apoyando a Portugal y ganaron. También estuve allí apoyando a México y también ganaron un par de juegos. Todos los aficionados fueron muy amables, si mi equipo ganaba, ¡me felicitarian como si hiciera algo! Yo estaba como, asombrada, gracias! Buen juego también! Me encanta cómo, aunque no ganaron, son amables, así como los otros equipos que no estaban jugando. Oiría comentarios como “BUEN TRABAJO MÉXICO”. Solo respondería ¡GRACIAS! ¡Buena suerte en tu juego más tarde! ¡Es como si todos fuéramos familiares apoyándonos mutuamente! Otra cosa interesante era que la gente simplemente se acercaba a nosotros y nos preguntaba si se podían tomar fotos, por supuesto, diría que sí. Fue como una competencia para ver con cuántas personas diferentes de diferentes lugares pudimos tomar fotos. Para aquellos que no pudieron comunicarse conmigo, simplemente acercaron su teléfono cerca de mi cara para una selfie jaja. Recuerdo que una Rusa se me acercó, hizo eso y me dio un beso enorme en la mejilla. ¡Es increíble cómo nos apasiona un deporte y podemos compartirlo con otras personas! ¡Definitivamente espero con ansias otras copas mundiales!
