Valle de Guadalupe is just south of the border, not far from lovely San Diego, California. These past few years, Valle de Guadalupe has grasped attention nationwide for its uniqueness, views and fabulous gastronomy. The drive is approximately an hour and a half before you arrive to the vineyards where there is an array of hotels and restaurants to choose from. I had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Hotel Boutique de Valle de Guadalupe for the weekend. I recommend choosing the Entre Viñedos section part of the hotel; comfy suites with glass doors for romantic views and a pool section for relaxation under the sun. These suites are called Entre Viñedos meaning “between vineyards” because they are literally between vineyards and perfect for a little more privacy.
This adorable boutique hotel also has a restaurant on the premises so there is no need to go far to find a great dinner. Fuego is a delicious restaurant with amazing customer service and perfect for those colorful sunset views. This was my first-time dining at Fuego and I loved it! I asked the waiter to recommend me something amazing and he nailed it! I definitely have to come back for more of their delicious food.
Something unique that this hotel offers is the complimentary use of their bicycles. The bicycles are available for an early morning or late afternoon ride. I found it perfect for stroll around the vineyards at sunset. I won’t lie, it was a bit of a work out for me but it was worth every moment. However, if bikes are not your thing, for an additional service fee, you can take an hour horse ride around the vineyard and still enjoy those magical romantic sunsets. Justo al sur de la frontera y no muy lejos de la hermosa ciudad de San Diego, California, se encuentra el Valle de Guadalupe. En los últimos años, el Valle de Guadalupe ha captado la atención de todo el país por su singularidad, sus vistas y su fabulosa gastronomía. El viaje es de aproximadamente una hora y media antes de llegar a los viñedos, donde hay una gran variedad de hoteles y restaurantes para elegir. Afortunadamente, tuve el l placer de hospedarme en el hermoso Hotel Boutique de Valle de Guadalupe durante el fin de semana. Recomiendo elegir la sección Entre Viñedos; cómodas suites con puertas de vidrio para vistas románticas y una sección de piscina para relajarse bajo el sol. Estas suites están dignamente llamadas Entre Viñedos porque están literalmente entre un viñedo y otro. Son perfectas para tener un poco más de privacidad.
Este adorable hotel boutique también tiene un restaurante en las instalaciones, así que no hay necesidad de ir muy lejos para encontrar una gran cena. Algo único que ofrece este hotel es el uso gratuito de sus bicicletas. Las bicicletas están disponibles para un paseo temprano por la mañana o por la tarde. En lo personal, me pareció perfecto para pasear por los viñedos al atardecer. No voy a mentir, fue un poco agotador para mí, pero valió la pena en cada momento. Sin embargo, si las bicicletas no son lo tuyo, por un costo de adicional, podrás dar un paseo a caballo de una hora por el viñedo y así disfrutar de esos mágicos atardeceres románticos.
